Beyond the Closet: Mental Health Spring Cleaning

We talk a lot about cleaning out our garages this time of year, but as a psychotherapist, I’m more interested in the mental clutter you’ve been lugging around since January. Spring is the perfect season for a boundary audit
3 Ways to "Deep Clean" Your Mind:

The "Should" Sweep: Write down every task you feel you should do. Cross off anything that doesn't actually align with your values or well-being.

Digital Pruning: Unfollow the accounts that make you feel inadequate during "bikini season" or "outdoor adventure" season. If their "joy" feels like an attack on your peace, hit mute.

Emotional Venting: Just as we open windows to let out the stale winter air, talk therapy or journaling allows you to "air out" the heavy thoughts you’ve been keeping inside.

The Goal: We aren't aiming for a "perfect" life; we're just trying to create a little more breathing room.

Often what seems like a simple issue might have a more complex origin. I would love to explore this more with you.

Contact me if you would like to see how we can work together.
