This month I have again been featured in Counseling Today, a publication by the American Counseling Association. In this article I explain how we can help clients who are in intimate relationships. We need to take care not to make assumptions about other people's sexual identity and gender identity, and perhaps even the term 'couples counseling/therapy' reveals a little about these assumptions.
