When you are feeling rough, whether it is anxiety or depression, you can end up forgetting how to look after yourself.
One way to help is to ask a friend to help you to list all the different ways you could look after yourself. All the different options for 'self-care'.
The list is endless, and it depends on your preference: Some prefer exercise, some prefer music, some prefer movies or dance or yoga, etc, etc!
When you have made the list, choose one or two, and fix a time and day when you are going to indulge in your favourite self-care. If this proves too difficult, or if you need to ask any questions, give me a call to book a consultation. I am here to help.
