EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) and Stress:
Chris has been trained by the EMDR Institute and Chris regularly uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help people to heal from stressful experiences. Chris is a therapist member of the EMDR International Association and the EMDR Institute.
Men's Therapy:
Chris specializes in working with people who have been given the male label. Men's Therapy is for anyone who has experienced harm due to the expectations and constraints of the male label. This includes anyone who is non-binary, trans, cis-gender, or gender queer. In 2010 Chris published qualitative research into male experiences of counseling and suicidal ideation, and Chris has since given radio interviews and published articles on men's health. Chris has recently written Beyond the Blue, a survival guide for depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, and trauma, and Chris has been trained at an advanced level by Survivors UK to work with male survivors of sexual violence.

Chris specializes in working affirmatively with members of the LGBTQ+ community. Chris is non-binary and queer, and Chris has spent years as a psychotherapist helping people to explore issues that directly and indirectly relate to their sexuality, and their gender identity. This includes empowering people to work through anxiety, depression, anger, familial estrangement, discrimination, and relationship conflict (at home and at work). Chris is a Professional Affiliate of the Society for the Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity (American Psychological Association).
