Do you have questions before we begin?
It's completely normal to feel a bit nervous about starting therapy. Here are some of the most common questions I hear from people searching for a therapist:
- What if I'm not ready to talk about everything? I will go at your pace. I focus on helping your mind and body feel safe before we ever dive into the heavy stuff.
- Can online therapy really help? Absolutely. Many of my clients prefer therapy in their own chosen setting. Besides, when you are in a place you know to be safe and familiar, you have a head start with calming that nervous system. On this page I have set out some research showing how useful online therapy can be.
- How do I know if you're the right therapist for me? That is why I offer a free fifteen-minute telephone call when we can explore this together. You can book this online via this page.
- What are the logistics? Time? Day? In-person or online? I only offer online therapy, and most available times are before 2.30pm on a weekday. If that doesn't work for you, let me know to see what I can move around.
